Are all the classes suitable for pregnancy?

All heated classes are not suitable for pregnancy.

All other classes on the timetable are suitable for pregnancy, we will need a letter from your DR to advise that you have a healthy pregnancy and you have been cleared to exercise throughout.

If you are starting classes when you are pregnant, you will be required to have a 1:1 before coming into a group setting.

If you are returning post pregnancy, we require a letter from your dr/women’s healthy physio stating you have been cleared to return to exercise

Are your classes suitable for beginners?

Yes, all of our classes are open to everyone. Our awesome instructors will be able to modify exercises for you to either take the movement down a level, or turn it up a notch pending your ability.

What should we wear to class?

Please wear comfortable exercise clothing. For all reformer classes you will be required to wear grip socks (these can be purchased from the studio).

Can you do single classes, or do you need to be a member?

We have different pricing options suitable for all budgets. You do not need to be a member to attend classes at the studio. We have single visit classes, 10 class passes and membership options available for purchase.

What are your opening hours?

Our studio will be open Monday to Saturday for classes. With our earliest class being 6 am, and our latest of an evening being 7 pm with classes scattered throughout the day.

All email/text enquiries will be answered between 9 am and 4 pm Monday, tuesday & thursdays.

Will you have a waitlist for classes?

Yes! All classes will have a wait list option if they are full. Please add yourself to a waitlist, you will be notified via the app, email or text. If you can no longer attend the class, please make sure you cancel out of the class.

How do I book into a class? Can I just turn up and pay ?

No we do not accept walk ins and do not have cash at the studio. Bookings for classes are essential.

We have our very own Pilates Bar app which we recommend downloading to book your classes in. Otherwise you can book your classes through the Momence website or app, or our Pilates Bar website.

Do I need to bring anything to class ?

Yes! Please bring the following:

Reformer: Large towel/Reformer mat and Grip socks & water

Barre/HIIT: towel & water

How much notice do I need to give to cancel my membership ?

We require two weeks written notice to cancel your membership and a nil balance on your account. Please send an email to hello@pilatesbar.com.au and request the cancellation.

Can I pause my membership ?

Yes. You can pause your membership for a minimum of 7 days at any given time, and a maximum of 4 weeks. If your hold exceeds 4 weeks, a $5/week fee is applied. We require two weeks written notice for all membership holds (unless due to injury, in which event we require a DR’s certificate).

I forgot to cancel my auto-renew and now it has bought me another 10 class pass, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately not, all sales and transactions are final and we do not offer refunds. Our 10 class passes have the auto-renew feature enabled for the convenience of members . You may cancel auto-renew at any stage without penalty - please email hello@pilatesbar.com.au to remove auto-renew feature.
